Whiteland student arrested after threat posted online

<div>A Whiteland Community High School student was arrested overnight after posting a threat against the school on social media.</div>

<div>The student posted a picture of himself with a gun tucked in his waistband with comments about school, according to a news release from Clark-Pleasant schools.</div>

<div>Greenwood police arrested the student. They found the gun in the picture was an airsoft gun, the release said.</div>

<div>Students and parents contacted both the school and police when they saw the posting, the release said.</div>

<div>The high school is running as usual, but more police are on campus today, the release said.</div>
