GREENWOOD
Joan C. Clunie Herzog Summers, 84, of Greenwood, passed away on September 19, 2017.
She was born on April 29, 1933 in Acton, IN to the late Russell and Madge Mears Clunie. She enjoyed baking, bird-watching, gardening, dancing and sewing.
Survivors include her 4 children, Fred (Edna) Herzog, Jeffrey (Donna) Herzog, Dennis (Tammy) Herzog and Catherine Lovell, 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and her sister, Clarice Schroeder. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Peggy Herzog and 4 siblings.
Visitation will be on Saturday, September 23, 2017 from 4 to 6 p.m. at G. H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home, 1605 S St. Rd 135 and Olive Branch Road with the service at 6 p.m.. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Childen’s Hospital or Johnson County Humane Society.
