Kids of all ages are invited to a special concert dedicated to youth and music appreciation this weekend.
Greater Greenwood Community Band will present its annual Children’s Concert on Sunday.
The event will start at 3 p.m. with hands-on demonstrations of band instruments, and the concert begins at 4 p.m. at the Northeast Park shelter, 100 Crestview Drive, Greenwood.
The concert is free. Children and the young at heart will both enjoy the musical line-up, which will include Disney fan favorites, classic cartoon melodies and more.

Kids can try playing all of the instruments in hopes of inspiring a new generation of musicians. Band members will be eager to answer any questions and nurture young talent.
Free refreshments will be provided and there will also be a gift give-away. Please bring lawn chairs and blankets.
