Johnson County residents can trade up for new Halloween costumes at the annual Respook, Rewear, Rescare exchange.
The Johnson County Recycling District event will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 13 at the Franklin Cultural Arts and Recreation Center, 396 Branigin Blvd., Franklin.
Those interested should bring a clean, gently-used Halloween costume to the exchange for a new costume. Costumes should be in good condition without tears or stains. Costumes are not available for purchase, only to swap.
Any county resident can participate in the exchange. Hundreds of costumes will be available in sizes from infant to adult.
