Koenig Equipment Inc., a John Deere dealer based in Botkins, Ohio, is acquiring Smith Implements, Inc.
The acquisition includes the location in Franklin, as well as those in Bloomington, Greenfield, Greensburg, Richmond and Rushville.
Koenig Equipment will have 13 dealership facilities serving customers in southwestern Ohio and southeastern Indiana.
The first day of business for the combined operation is Oct. 31.
