GREENWOOD
Donna “Star” (Utterback) McCormick, 43, of Greenwood, passed away on September 18, 2017.
She was born on June 1, 1974, in Indianapolis, to her parents, Jim Utterback and Victoria (Glover) Collins.
She enjoyed riding motorcycles and going to the covered bridge festival.
She loved her Dr. Pepper, but loved spending time with her grandkids even more!
Star is survived by her fiance, Kenny Kermode of Greenwood; her children, Dezeraie (John) Wright of Indianapolis, Mercedes, Dakota and Shyan McCormick, all of Greenwood, Kenny Kermode II of Indianapolis, David Bucko Jr. of Greenwood and Jacob Oakes of Greenwood; her parents, Johnnie and Victoria Collins of Mooresville; her father, Jim Utterback of Seymor; a sister, Angie (Jeff) Byrd of Ramer, Tennessee, two brothers, Steven (Chele) Dowell of Terre Haute, Bill Adams of Mooresville; three grandchildren, Ariya Wright, Emma Wright and Collin Kermode; and her yorkie, Oliver.
The family will host a visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, September 22 at Jessen Funeral Home, Whiteland Chapel 729 N. U.S. 31. A service will follow immediately at 7 p.m. A fellowship will follow at the Welcome Center of the Smith Valley United Methodist Church at 5293 Old Smith Valley Rd, Greenwood.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Jessen Funeral Home, Whiteland Chapel.
