Purses stolen from Center Grove business

Two purses were stolen from vehicles parked at a Center Grove area business.

Johnson County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a business parking lot in the 1000 block of Bluff Road, near County Line Road and State Road 37, twice Monday.

Both calls came in just after 1 p.m., and both women reported they had left their purse inside their vehicle, and came out to find a window on their vehicle broken and their purses gone, according to the sheriff’s office reports.

Cash and debit cards were stolen, and another woman’s workout bag that contained her wedding ring was also stolen, the report said.

The sheriff’s office is investigating.
