The Social of Greenwood will host its fundraiser Sparkles & Spurs at 6 p.m. Oct. 12 at the the Barn at Bay Horse Inn, 1468 Stones Crossing Road, Greenwood.
The event will feature food, music by Tastes Like Chicken, raffles, silent auctions and more, all to help support The Social of Greenwood’s programming. Rafael Sanchez, a reporter for RTV6, will host the festivities.
With its mission to support residents 50 and older, The Social of Greenwood offers programs such as fitness classes, group meals and a food pantry. Rock Steady Boxing, an exercise regimen for people suffering from Parkinson’s disease, has become one of the most popular activities.
Tickets to Sparkles & Spurs are $60, or $45 for members of The Social of Greenwood.
