Marjorie Louise “Marge” Anderson

CENTER GROVE

Marjorie Louise “Marge” Anderson, 94, of Center Grove, went to be with the Lord on September 12, 2017, at Aspen Trace Memory Care in Center Grove.

Born on May 7, 1923 to the late Franklin and Callie Tester in Bruceville, the eighth of 10 children, she was preceded in death by all of her brothers and sisters.

Marge married Russell J. Anderson Feb. 7, 1947 in Indianapolis; he preceded her in death in September of 1998.

She lived in Beech Grove for over 40 years and moved to Greenwood in 1998, and has lived in this area since.

Marge worked at several meat packing companies around Indianapolis and also worked in the deli at Meijer on State Road 135 in Center Grove until 2006.

Her life touched the lives of so many. We will miss her love and laughter.

Survivors include her son, C. Edward (Connie M.) Anderson of Greenwood; grandchildren, Terry (Lisa) Anderson, and their children, Zach and Paige of Greenwood and Nicole (Bob) Cerbone and their three boys, Anthony, Jake and Justin of Indianapolis.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 16 from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road, 135, Greenwood.

The family would like to thank the staff at Aspen Trace Cherished Memories unit for their love, care and support.
