Genealogy Day: Museum hosts event to discover family history

Ever wanted to know where your family’s ancestors came from?

Or how to go about learning how to find out?

An event at the Johnson County Museum of History this weekend can help you on your search. The museum will host its Genealogy Day on Saturday, where locals can learn several research methods and techniques that will help them discover their family history.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will include four different programs: “Grave(s) in the Road,” “Learning about Hoosier State Chronicles,” “Family Stories,” and “DNA for Genealogists.”

The cost is $8 and includes lunch. Call for registration information and availability.
