A man was arrested for public nudity Saturday morning in Greenwood after police said they found him sitting on a bench with his pants pulled down to his ankles.
Bachittar Singh, 65, was arrested on a charge of public nudity.
An officer on Main Street near Country Club Drive saw Singh sitting on a bench along a walking trail with his pants pulled down, a Greenwood Police Department report said.
Earlier that week, police had received a report of indecent exposure in the area but had not located anyone at that time, the report said.
Singh re-arranged his pants once he saw the officer’s car, but when the officer parked his car away from the area and approached him on foot, Singh again had his pants pulled down to his ankles, the report said.
Singh, 798 Connors Dr., Apt. B, was arrested and taken to the Johnson County jail. He was released on $1,000 bond.
