To the editor:
Lori Borgman’s column (“Grandma’s gloves hold the hands of time,” Aug. 31) reminds me of my mother doing a lot of things that you mentioned. Also, she received at Christmas many personal apparel items.
Her one statement, over and over every year, was “I will save these for Good.”… And we never knew when the time ‘Good’ would come. After her passing, many items were found — almost untouched. Thank you for a good history lesson.
