Helen Jean (Cooprider) Heaton, 84, of Greenwood was called home on September 7, 2017. She was born August 9, 1931 to Ivan and Gracie Cooprider. A graduate of Butler University, Jean spent her career with the Indianapolis Public School system, where she met and married Paul. They shared 58 loving years together. Jean loved to travel. She also loved horses, dogs, flowers and especially her husband, Paul C. Jean was preceded in death by her parents and her only brother, Robert.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 14 from 1:30 to 2:00 p.m. with a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. in Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Rd. 135, Greenwood.
