Michael S. Wagner

INDIANAPOLIS

Michael S. Wagner, 68, of Indianapolis, passed away from heart failure September 7, 2017.

He was born July 11, 1949 in Beech Grove, to the late Orla J. and Gertrude Gallagher Wagner.

Mike was a 1967 graduate of Cathedral High School.

He married Rosanna Boehm in 1972 and was a U.S. Postal Clerk for 40 years, retiring in 2010.

Mike was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church while growing up and Holy Name Catholic Church as an adult. He was a member of Knights of Columbus Council No. 3660 and was involved with Our Lady of Greenwood Catholic Church.

He especially loved watching his grandchildren’s sporting events.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 10, 2017 from 4 until 8 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Thompson Road Chapel, 3333 E. Thompson Road, Indianapolis. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Name Catholic Church, 89 N. 17th St., Beech Grove.

Mike is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Rosanna Wagner; children, David Wagner and Angela Halliburton (Steve); sister, Karen Edwards (Frank), brother, John Wagner (Claudia); grandchildren, Ashley Wagner, Chloe Krivulka (Michael), Bonnie, Emma and Faith Wagner, and Chance Halliburton; and great-grandchildren, Aminah Wagner and Camden Krivulka.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Catholic Youth Organization.
