Surgeon joins St. Francis joint surgeons Carmel office

Dr. Anthony W. Feher has joined Franciscan Physician Network Joint Replacement Surgeons Carmel.

He will work with Dr. Jeffrey Pierson in the practice. Both perform primary hip and knee replacements and complex revision cases.

Feher most recently completed an adult reconstruction fellowship at the University of Louisville School of Medicine Department of Orthopedic Surgery. He previously completed and orthopedic surgery residency at the Indiana University School of Medicine.

Feher’s experience experience also includes teaching and work as an athletic and industrial trainer. He earned his medical degree at the IU School of Medicine and a master’s of science in recreation and sports sciences at Ohio University.

Feher is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.

Communications, leadership workshop planned

Leadership Johnson County will host the workshop, “Leading and Communicating Across Generations” on Friday at Franklin College.

The half-day program will feature guest speaker Carolyn Goerner from the IU Kelley School of Business, and focus on communicating among different age groups.

During the program, participants will learn about generational differences, address their own worldviews and learn best practices to communicate and among various groups.

The event will be from 9 a.m. to noon on the Franklin College campus. Tickets are $49 per person for Leadership Johnson County graduates, Franklin College alumni and Franklin and Greater Greenwood Chamber of Commerce members. General public pricing is $59 per person. Group discounts are available for five or more attendees.
