CLIFFSIDE PARK, N.J. — A massive fire that broke out Tuesday night has burned through and destroyed a New Jersey pharmacy and convenience store.

The fire broke out around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in Cliffside Park. Crews from at least half a dozen New Jersey towns were on scene trying to tamp down the fire, which was still active late Tuesday night.

Authorities are still trying to determine the cause of the fire. The fire has emitted heavy levels of smoke, making conditions dangerous for firefighters.
