A Greenwood man was taken to the hospital for treatment after police said he accidentally shot himself in the leg early Saturday morning.
Jorge Uzquiano, 21, told officers he was cleaning a handgun about 1:30 a.m. Saturday in his apartment at Trotters Pointe when he shot himself in the leg, a Greenwood Police Department report said.
Uzquiano was taken to Eskenazi Hospital for treatment at his request, the report said. His condition was not available Tuesday.
