BOSTON — Boston police are looking for a suspect in the shooting of a man slain as he was getting his hair cut in a city barbershop.

Police and witnesses say a masked man entered Creole International Style in the city’s Dorchester section at around 10:45 a.m. Tuesday and shot the victim. The shooter then ran from the shop.

The victim was taken to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead. His name has not been released but authorities say he appears to be in his 20s.

The shop’s owner says the victim was a regular.

The shooting is still under investigation.
