Man arrested after fight with deputies

A Franklin man was arrested after police said he became aggressive with officers who were trying to stop a fight.

Just after 9 p.m. Sunday, Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a home and saw two men fighting. Seth Hodson, 22, Franklin, became aggressive with deputies, the sheriff’s department said. The deputies were not injured in the incident.

Hodson was arrested on charges charges of battery on a public safety officer, battery, disorderly conduct, public intoxication and resisting law enforcement. He was taken to Columbus Regional Hospital to be checked out and then was taken to the Bartholomew County Jail, where he was released on $23,000 bond.
