Cars damaged at repair shop in Greenwood

Several cars parked behind a Greenwood repair shop were damaged over the weekend.

Four cars parked behind Kenny’s Transmission, an auto-repair shop at 340 Madison Ave., were found damaged Monday evening, a Greenwood Police Department report said.

The cars, which belonged to the business owner and his employees, had broken windows, doors had been dented and a convertible’s top had been ripped off. Several damaged wood planks were found at the scene on top of one of the cars and lying next to the others. The planks were collected to be tested for fingerprints, the report said.
