Traffic offense, narcotics
State Road 37 and Olive Branch Road, Greenwood: Just after 2 p.m. Friday, police pulled over a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on State Road 37 south of County Road 900 North. The vehicle had been tailgating the vehicle in front of it. Police apprehended the driver, Jason D. Sloan, 35, Martinsville, who was found in possession of methamphetamine and an injectable substance. He also was arrested on an active warrant for Greenwood City Court and issued citations for speeding and following too closely, as well as not having a license when required, according to the report.
