A local clinic is donating medical supplies to help with hurricane relief efforts.
St. Thomas Clinic, a free clinic in Franklin, recently received a large donation of supplies from another clinic in Mooresville. The items were more than the local clinic could use, so officials decided to donate them, according to a news release.
The over-the-counter medical supplies are being donated to the American Red Cross, which was in need of more medical supplies to help hurricane victims in Texas, the release said.
Adelta Logis, a Plainfield-based logistics company, is delivering the supplies to Houston, the release said.
