MOUNT PLEASANT, Pa. — A coroner says a man stabbed a woman to death before hanging himself in Pennsylvania.

Police found 27-year-old Ashley Ugoletti dead of multiple stab wounds in a home on College Avenue in Mount Pleasant on Wednesday night. They found 31-year-old Nguyen Tran, who lived in the home, had hanged himself in another room. The Westmoreland County coroner has ruled the deaths a murder-suicide.

Police have since said the victims were not in a relationship but have stopped short of saying why they were together.

Ugoletti had worked as a dancer at Blush, a Pittsburgh strip.

Ugoletti and another Blush dancer were charged with prostitution and cocaine distribution after police say they offered a man $1,200 for sex, plus cocaine if he paid another $100. That man was an undercover cop.
