ST. LOUIS — Two men are dead after a shooting in north St. Louis.

The shooting happened Tuesday afternoon. Police say 44-year-old Matthew Barry and 45-year-old Otis Bennett were killed during an argument with a 34-year-old suspect.

Barry was found in the driver’s seat of a car with gunshot wounds to the head and chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Bennett was also shot in the head and died at a hospital.

The suspect was arrested Wednesday morning. It wasn’t immediately clear if charges have been filed.

Police have not released information about what led to the argument that resulted in the shooting.
