GREENWOOD
Lois G. Davis, 94, went to be with the Lord on August 26, 2017.
She was born August 13, 1923 in Indianapolis, to Mark and Ethel Weaver.
She attended Indianapolis Public School No. 41, and graduated from Shortridge High School in 1941.
She married the late William E. Davis in 1943, and they had three children, Michael (Shirley) Davis of Damascus, Maryland, the late Mark (Cathy) Davis of St. Leonard, Maryland and Kristi (Donald) Johnson of Danville, Indiana. She had eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Lois was a member of Gray Road Baptist Church, and attended Bible Study Fellowship for over 20 years.
Viewing will take place Thursday, August 31 at Gray Road Baptist Church from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with the service to follow at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
