EDINBURGH
Elizabeth Ann Brooks-Briddle, 72, of Edinburgh, Indiana, passed away August 26, 2017 at IU Health University Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born July 11, 1945 in Edinburgh. She was the daughter of Charles T. and LaVern L. (Andrew) Brooks.
She is survived by a son, William D. (Lori) Briddle of Anderson, Indiana, a daughter, Karen (Lonnie) Biddle of Bargersville, Indiana, a brother, Thomas Lee (Jane) Brooks of Seymour, Indiana, a sister, Barbara (Art) Briddle of Edinburgh, Indiana, two grandchildren, and best bud for 45 years, B.J. Gosch of Edinburgh, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a former husband, Billy Joe Briddle, a brother, Charles Wayne Brooks, and a nephew, Troy Allen Briddle.
She retired from Lear Corporation in 2008 when they closed after 38 years of service.
She enjoyed riding in her golf cart, playing softball, bowling, camping, and fishing.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m, Wednesday, August 30, 2017 by Reverend Ricky Burton at Who-So-Ever-Will Community Church in Edinburgh. Calling will be from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday and from 1 p.m. until time of service on Wednesday. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
