4 accused of underage drinking

Four people were arrested after they were caught drinking underage at a party in Greenwood early Saturday.

Chandler M. McGail, 19, 8049 Cherington Drive, Indianapolis; Trevor A. Coleman, 19, 3315 Byrd Drive, Indianapolis; Braden Williams, 20, 4352 Country Lane, Indianapolis and Ross A. Williams, 20, 762 Enchance Court, Greenwood, were all arrested on charges of possession, consumption or transportation of alcohol by a minor.

A concerned resident called police just before 12:30 a.m. Saturday to report that minors may be drinking in the 5500 block of Travis Road in Greenwood, according to a report from the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff’s deputies saw people standing around a fire. All four men said they had been drinking. Portable breath tests given at the scene confirmed that they had drank alcohol, according to the report.

They were all held on $1,000 bond.
