CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Cheyenne police say a 27-year-old man shot himself after he led authorities on a chase in southeast Wyoming.

Police say the incident began about 4 a.m. Saturday when an officer attempted a traffic stop in south Cheyenne. But police say Kreshon Slack, of Cheyenne, did not stop and lead officers on a chase that included shots fired at officers.

Police say the chase ended on Interstate 80 when Slack shot himself.

No other details were made available, and the incident remains under investigation.
