NEW YORK — New York City police have announced an arrest in the shooting of a 21-year-old Queens woman.

Jonel Lattore was being held Saturday after his arrest on second-degree murder, reckless endangerment and weapons charges.

Police said the 34-year-old Queens man was arrested Friday in the Aug. 15 killing of Teriana Holcombe in the St. Albans section of Queens.

Authorities said the day care worker was shot in the head during a fight between her fiance’s relatives and men outside the family who had been feuding with them.

A lawyer for Lattore could not immediately be reached for comment.

A GoFundMe page to pay for Holcombe’s funeral has raised over $8,500 of its $10,000 goal. The funeral was Thursday.
