Southport Christian Church, 201 E. Epler Ave., Indianapolis, will host a fundraiser for the church’s youth missions today.
The New to You Rummage sale will include furniture, electronics, housewares and decorative items. The sale will be open 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Friendship Baptist Church, 1600 Westview Drive, Franklin, will host a fish fry from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 9.
Menu items include fish with sides, a fish sandwich, individual sides, beverages and dessert for $1 to $8.
All are welcome.
SouthPointe Church will present will be presenting Disney’s “Moana” on Sept. 16 in conjunction with the Greater Whiteland Community Day on the west lawn of the Clark-Pleasant Schools administration building, 50 Center St., Whiteland.
Pre-film festivities, including music, interactive games, door prizes, drinks and popcorn will begin at 7 p.m. The movie will start at dusk. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs.

Mount Auburn United Methodist Church, 3100 W. Stones Crossing Road, Greenwood, will offer GriefShare from Tuesdays from Sept. 19 to Nov. 21.
The programs will be 10 a.m. to noon. The support group is open to anyone who has lost a loved one.

Vendor space is available for $30 for a 10-foot x 10-foot outdoor booth. The sale will be 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
