LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Authorities in Kentucky say a person has been shot near a Louisville hookah business.

Louisville-area 911 service MetroSafe tells local news outlets it received a call around 10:30 p.m. Monday about the incident near Friends Hookah Cafe in Louisville’s Highlands neighborhood. At least one victim was taken to a hospital. The severity of the victim’s injuries is unclear.

Louisville police Lt. Alejandro Cabrera says it wasn’t immediately clear if the shooting took place inside or outside. He says police have a “person of interest” they’re talking to.
