To the editor:
Back in the 1800s, three men got together to speed up mail — hence the Pony Express’s first deliveries were from Missouri to California. It took 10 days to get mail (from one place to another).
It now takes 10 days to get mail from Franklin to Greenfield? What year is this?
We need to get the postmaster general on a pony to deliver 40-mile mail!
