Special Olympics Johnson County would like to thank businesses and individuals who donated time, food and information booths at the State Special Olympics Softball Tournament at Center Grove Lassie League on July 29. Also, a big thank-you to the parents and coaches who brought athletes from all over the state. The following organizations made significant donations: Center Grove Lassie League, venue; Walgreens, wellness booth; The Gentle Dentist, dental cleanliness instructions and free hygiene items; Lion’s Club, free eye exams; Nestle Water, free ice water; Unity of Indiana, athlete information; Shine FM Radio Station, music and games; Chick-Fil-A, sandwiches for the athletes.
