Johnson County residents can join a composting workshop Saturday at Johnson County Park.
Johnson County Soil and Water Conservation District will host the workshop from 10 a.m. to noon.
The group will meet at the park office to discuss how to start a compost pile and the process behind the decomposition. After the discussion, participants will head out to the fruit and nut grove to plant fruit and nut trees with the compost that Franklin residents helped create earlier in the summer.
