FORT COLLINS, COLORADO
Byford Lee Reed died on August 15, 2017 at his new home in Ft. Collins, Colorado. His father, Allen, died when Byford was a small child. Byford was a loving son to his mother, Blanche, and a good big brother to his sister, Lois (Fruits). He served his country during the Korean War returning to serve his students as a teacher before attending dental school. He enjoyed helping his dental patients, delaying his retirement until he was 80 years old. He enjoyed travel, competitive running, politics, and outdoor projects around the house.
Most of all, everything he did showed us how much he loved his family. He and Jessie were married for 60 years, wonderful parents and grandparents to Julie, Stacy, Phil, Brad, and their families.
Byford was an example of how great life can be.
