NORMAL, ILL.
Ann M. Keiser, age 72, formerly of Normal, Illinois, passed away at 5:18 p.m. on Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin.
Ann was born July 22, 1945 in Tuam, Ireland the daughter of Martin and Kathleen Duggan Mulryan.
She had married William Cox and later Marvin Keiser on June 30, 1979 in Bloomington, Illinois. He survives.
Also surviving are her two sons, Bill (Linda) Cox of Secor, Illinois, Steve Cox of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; five grandchildren, Tanner Cox of Tempe, Arizona, Rachel (Jeff) Martin of College Station, Texas, Kimberly (Sean) Gould, Jonesboro, Illinois, Aidan and Peyton Cox of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; great-grandson, Adam Gould, Jonesboro, Illinois, her brother, Fursey (Joyce) Mulryan, sisters, Breda Thorn, Angela Buckingham and Pauline Baker, all of the United Kingdom, and sisters, Chris (Ron) Herron of Kingsport, Tennessee and Maura (Bob) Savant of California.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents.
Ann was born in Ireland and moved to the United States in 1964. She later moved to Normal, Illinois in 1967.
Ann worked at Bloomington High School in the adult education department.
Then, she and Marvin moved to Indiana where she worked at Ace Rent-A-Car.
Ann enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Her funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington, Illinois. The Rev. Steve Evans will be officiating. Burial will be at East Lawn Cemetery in Bloomington, Illinois. Visitation will be 9:30-11 a.m. Saturday at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home.
The family suggests memorials be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
