NACOGDOCHES, Texas — Ten people have been arrested in what police in Nacogdoches in East Texas say was a prostitution and human trafficking operation.

Police Lt. Dan Taravella says the investigation is continuing and other arrests may still be possible.

The Daily Sentinel of Nacogdoches reports the arrests Saturday night are the result of a sting operation involving multiple police units.

Besides facing prostitution charges, two of the 10 people also have been arrested for drug offenses. Only three of the 10 arrested are from Nacogdoches. Five are from Tyler, one from Crockett and one from Houston.
