ARLINGTON, Va. — Police in northern Virginia say a woman is being held without bond in the stabbing of two other women in a parking lot in suburban Washington.

Arlington County police say the stabbing happened shortly before 6 p.m. Saturday after a group of people began arguing outside a movie theater near police headquarters.

Authorities arrested 37-year-old Sharon E. Uwandu. She is charged with two counts of aggravated malicious wounding.

Both victims were taken to George Washington University Medical Center. Both are expected to survive.

This story has been corrected to show the last name of the suspect is Uwandu, not Nwandu.
