Physician joins Franciscan network

Dr. Anand M. Navarasala, has joined Franciscan Physician Network Rehabilitation Specialists.

Their offices are located at 8051 S. Emerson Ave., Suite 250, Indianapolis.

Navarasala most recently completed physical medicine and rehabilitation training at Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital in Wheaton, Illinois, where he serve as chief resident.

Navarasala’s areas of clinical interest are interventional pain management, brain injury/post-concussion syndrome rehabilitation, musculoskeletal rehabilitation and stroke rehabilitation.

Board-eligible for physical medicine and rehabilitation certification, he received his undergraduate degree in physiology at Michigan State University (East Lansing), where he earned his doctorate in osteopathic medicine. He later completed a transitional year residency at Western Michigan University.

New consulting firm has local roots

A new Greenwood consulting firm specializes in helping organizations with strategic planning.

Arête Purpose Consulting LLC focuses on relationships among an organization’s leaders and helps them create a strategic plan based on collaboration and commitment.

Arête’s partners include Elizabeth M. Johnson of Greenwood, Jeffrey W. Owen of Franklin and Abbey D. Parker of Indianapolis.

Johnson and Parker are licensed therapists and Owen is a long-time strategic plan consultant and digital marketing business owner.

Besides working with leaders in several companies, Arête’s partners have been consultants in strategic planning projects for the Kappa Delta Pi International, Disability Legal Services of Indiana, the Greater Greenwood Chamber of Commerce, the Franklin Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Johnson County, the Johnson County Public Library and the Interchurch Food Pantry of Johnson County.

Commonwealth hires project manager

Commonwealth Engineers Inc. has announced it has hired a project manager, Jeremy Schmitt.

Jeremy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Purdue University and has been working in the water resource industry for over a decade. His background expertise includes pump station design, wastewater collection and treatment, water conveyance, treatment and storage; and stormwater conveyance and detention.
