FRANKLIN, Tenn. — Two women who police say shoplifted and then tried to run over several officers are being sought in Tennessee.

Local news outlets report that Franklin police say the two suspects were shoplifting in the Cool Springs area Thursday night, and tried to run over several officers in the Academy Sports and Outdoors parking lot while making their getaway.

Police say the two women were driving a stolen black Toyota Camry.

The Franklin Police Department released stills from surveillance footage of the women in a tweet. A reward is being offered for information leading to identification and arrest.
