Lancers win 3-way event
Vanessa McManaway shot a 44 to lead Edinburgh to victory in a three-way meet Thursday at North Branch Golf Course in Greensburg.
The Lancers’ team score of 195 put it well ahead of North Decatur (243) and Southwestern (Shelby) (259).
Other individual scores for Edinburgh were Kenzie Hill’s 46, Kierra Richards with a 49 and Hannah Kellams’ 56. The Lancers’ other starter, Morgan Calhoun, finished with a 60.
Indian Creek downs Clovers
Propelled by Lauren Parsley’s 43, Indian Creek edged Cloverdale 211-213.
The Clovers’ Sammie Shrum picked up medalist honors with a 42, but the Braves’ Jacqui Button shot 49 and Caitlyn Snyder a 59.
