DRY CREEK, W.Va. — Authorities are searching for a West Virginia man accused of robbing a 91-year-old woman and her caregiver at gunpoint.

The Charleston Gazette-Mail reports authorities are searching for 36-year-old Brandon Cantley after the victims told authorities a man forced his way into the home Tuesday morning, was violent and demanded money.

State Police say Cantley found a small caliber pistol in the house and demanded money from the victims. Once the victims gave Cantley a small amount of cash, he locked them inside an elevator lift in the home.

According to a news release, Cantley stole additional items, including a 2001 Jeep Cherokee.

Cantley is wanted on several offenses, including kidnapping and strong armed robbery.
