A woman was arrested on a charge of child molesting after a girl told police she had been touched inappropriately.
Tiawana Hughes, 27, who told police she is homeless, was arrested Saturday, after police said she reached out to the girl after two years.
The girl, who is now 14, told a relative that she was inappropriately touched by Hughes in 2015 when they were both staying at the same Greenwood home. She told police Hughes had recently sent her a message on Facebook, bringing up the incident, according to a report.
Police asked Hughes about the incident and told them she had touched the girl, but that it was consensual, the report said.
Hughes was arrested and is being held at the Johnson County jail on $16,000 bond.
