LEXINGTON, Ky. — A teenager has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a 19-year-old.

The Lexington Herald-Leader reports that Lexington police say the 17-year-old boy was arrested Tuesday after a brief foot chase and has been charged with murder in the August 5 death of Sean Howard.

Police say Howard was shot while sitting in a car in a parking lot. He later died at Saint Joseph East Hospital. Police say the shooting is believed to have stemmed from a dispute between Howard and the suspect.

It’s unclear if the suspect has a lawyer.
