A Greenwood man was arrested after police said he threw a woman onto a couch and then pointed a gun at her Monday afternoon.
Brien Mitchum, 38, was arrested on charges of domestic battery and pointing a firearm.
A woman told police that she and Mitchum had an argument and that Mitchum began kicking the recliner she was in, tried to grab a phone from her hand and threw her on the couch when she stood up, a Greenwood Police Department report said.
The woman told officers that Mitchum had pointed a gun at her and then at himself, saying “I’ll end it now,” the report said.
Mitchum, 1498 Cottonwood Ct. Apt. D, was arrested and taken to Johnson County jail. He was held on $2,000 bond.
