CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — A Tennessee man who authorities say was tied up and burned during a home invasion has been hospitalized in serious condition.

The Chattanooga Times Free Press reports that Chattanooga police said in a news release officers responded to a home on Monday and found 55-year-old William Green suffering from multiple injuries. Green told police multiple suspects tied him up and ordered him to reveal where he kept money.

Investigators believe Green was specifically targeted. No details about the suspects have been released at this time and the investigation is active.
