ORANGEBURG, S.C. — A man has been shot to death following an argument in South Carolina.

Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell said in a news release that the shooting was reported early Saturday morning.

Witnesses told deputies they heard gunshots and saw a man on the ground.

Ravenell said investigators learned that two men were involved in a confrontation that became physical.

The dead man’s name has not been released.

No arrests have been made.
