GREENSBORO, N.C. — A man has been found shot to death in a vehicle in North Carolina.

The News & Record of Greensboro reported that officers were called around 6 p.m. Saturday and found evidence of a shooting but could not find a victim.

About 45 minutes later, Guildford County sheriff’s deputies found a man in a vehicle who had been shot and was declared dead at the scene.

Greensboro police said Sunday the victim was 21-year-old Steven Lamar Smith of Burlington.

No other details were immediately available. No arrests have been reported.
