BUXTON, Maine — Police say a 28-year-old Maine man is recovering after being critically injured a shooting in the town of Buxton.

Maine State Police say shooting victim Lincoln Kimball, of Hollis, continued to recover Monday at Maine Medical Center in Portland.

Police identified the gunman as 19-year-old Brandon Lasante, of Buxton.

No arrests had been made as state police continue to investigate what led to the shooting, which happened early Sunday. The state attorney general’s office and the York County district’s attorney office are in close contact with investigators.
