LEXINGTON, Ky. — A man wanted in connection with a recent string of hotel robberies has been arrested in Kentucky.

News outlets report that Lexington police arrested 30-year-old Sidney Paul Williams Jr. and charged him with one count of first-degree robbery in the July 31 robbery of Country Inn and Suites. Police say Williams could also be responsible for three other robberies at Lexington-area hotels from July 27 to Aug. 3.

An arrest warrant was issued Friday, two days after police released surveillance video from multiple hotels. Police say he took money from the registers at all locations.

It’s unclear if Williams has a lawyer.
